California Proposal

Guess what my peeps? Read this article. Right there. On the 'this' word. Then come back. Please. You don't have to I guess but it would be nice. Here are a few more in case you want more information.
And before I go any further I would like to say that yes, I understand that this will very most likely not pass. But how is this kind of thing even acceptable to get this far?
Anyway. As to my opinion on this piece of news. I don't even know where to start. I am honestly having a bit of a hard time trying to even wrap my head around it.
Let's just start with the title. "California Tries To Block Proposal That Would Legalize Shooting Gay People". Wow. That's just about all I can think of to sum that up. The title basically tells the whole story. An attorney, whether just 'trolling' (as one news article speculates he might be) or being serious, has purposed legalizing the murder of gay people. Is he just doing it to try and change the way laws can be made in California? Maybe. But why would he ever even consider going that way to do so. If that is what he was trying to accomplish, instead of threatening people's lives, why not make a proposal that was stupid, but not actually harmful to people. No one knows why he did it, he has yet to give anyone any comment on the subject, so we will continue to be left in the dark about his reasoning.
Three hundred, sixty five thousand, eight hundred and eighty-eight. That is the number of signatures it would take for the proposal to be taken to the ballots. There are currently approximately 38.8 million people in California. Statistically, it would not be hard to get enough signatures. Hopefully, common sense won't leave three hundred, sixty five thousand, eight hundred and eighty eight people. Hopefully.
Luckily, every single person that signs this horrifying proposal, will let anyone that cares about looking through random things like proposals to legalize mass murder of innocent people (genocide, if you will), see that they signed it. That's right my friends, once someone signs it, their name is officially on it forever as a human being that is all for murdering gays. How about that. I personally love all the things people can do with internet nowadays, including finding out who attempted murderers are.

10 year old boy

I first found this post on tumblr so it took a while for me to find it on the interwebs. But here it is. Go to that link for me. Click on that nice little tiny picture there. Did you click it?
Do you know what I'm upset about yet?
No?
Let me explain. That ten year old child was murdered. As of yet it is unknown who by. My question is. Why? Why on this green and blue circular planet we live on, did the news station feel the need to report on the story with that picture? Of a ten year old. With blurred out fingers. Why would they do that? What are they trying to show? Are they trying to instigate that he was in some way a bad kid? Let's just say I haven't done my research, and I thought that the cute little ten year old boy was in fact holding up his middle fingers. Why would the media use that picture? That boy was most definitely loved by his family. There were most definitely better, more loving pictures to show of him. So why that one?
But, since, I have done my homework (not actual literal schoolwork of course, don't be silly) I have found out that it wasn't even his middle fingers being held up. Don't believe me? Here's a picture, without his hands blurred out. DONT FORGET TO ADD PIC

(I am very sorry I do not have a link to go with this, but I feel the photo in itself should be significant enough proof)

Indiana's 'Religious Law'

You've all heard of Indiana's law by now right? Right? You know, the one where it made it legal to discriminate again? The one Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and less note able people, such as myself and the majority of the whole entire United States of America talk about with disgust? I hope so. If you have not heard about it, well my poor dear child, there is a chance you have your head up your booty and don't pay attention to news. But never fear sweet child of mine, there are many people in the same boat. And since I love you and want you to be informed here is a link that will describe to you, a fairly sufficient amount of what this law entitles.
What this law is doing, is basically making it legal to refuse service to people based on their sexuality. My honest reaction to this would be probably about twenty question marks in a row, but since people might not understand the point I would be trying to get across, you are are going to have to imagine me looking as confused and disgusted as a human can possibly look.
Why would it ever be a good idea to legalize discrimination? I' pretty sure progress means going the other way. You know. Like making it illegal to discriminate. To actually once again try (and very likely fail but try nonetheless because you have to start somewhere) to meet the standards of equality that the United States of America supposedly offers.
When looking up this ridiculous new law I stumbled across this. Check it out. Watch the little video at the bottom. Because I think it's beautiful, and way more forgiving and hopefully than i could really be about this subject.
