Galavant

Have you heard of Galavant already? It's a wonderful mini series musical TV show that you should most definitely watch. What's so great about it? Why there are so many things I could probably fill a whole blog post just talking about them. In fact, that's exactly just what I'll do.
One of the main reasons as to why its so wonderful is the fact that its a musical TV show. Let me run that by you again. It's a TV show, that everyone sings in, for no apparent reason whatsoever. What part of that sentence is not one of the most loveliest things you've ever heard? None of it. Exactly. Who doesn't love a witty musical number with fancy and funny dance moves, with generally some backup singers or duets thrown in the mix? No one.
Another reason as to why it's wonderful, is because it tends to go against every cliché possible. You'll think you know exactly what's going to happen because you've seen situations like the one you're watching thousands of times when WHAM BAM you get thrown right off your couch by the unexpected turn of events.
Adding to the growing list of awesome things going for this TV show, is that every character has some serious flaws. Even the good guys. And by serious I mean like major, gaping, ugly flaws. For example, Galavant, the main 'good guy' and well-respected knight, is a complete drunk. What does he do when he gets dumped by his girl? Drinks his problems away for about a year, and lives in denial about how horrible of a person his girl really is.
And, if all of that wasn't enough, threes also the amazing actors that are in the TV show. My personal favorite actor in this show is Timothy Omundson, whom I know from one of my other favorite TV shows, Psych. He has incredible talent and is always fun to watch. In fact, the whole cast has quite the set of skills, from Joshua Sasse (Galavant), to Karen David (Isabella), to even Weird Al Yankovic, whom of which shows up as a confessional Monk. Awesome right? Hella.
The witty, sometimes cruel banter between characters also has a way of keeping you on your toes and entertained. How so? Well lets just say that every unexpected line will either leave you rolling on the floor laughing, or sitting in shock.
Overall I would very highly recommend this TV show for anyone that is looking for something fun to watch when avoiding life responsibilities, or what ever else. There's many places to watch it online, my favorite being couchtuner.com since its has many different options of players to use. Well what are you waiting for? (Unless you're in class reading this instead of writing a blog) Go watch it!
